About us

The Paradise Partner Paraguay PPP foundation acts in following areas, as established in article 2 of the statute, objectives:

Foment and support social projects in Paraguay, as well as to develop and expand cultural, social, political and economic cooperation between Switzerland and Paraguay
Finance projects in Paraguay in the areas of education, agriculture, health, infrastructure and housing.
Support to the Paraguayan representation in Switzerland (Embassy and Consulate) and promotion of contacts between institutions of both countries.
Foment educational and training trips for Paraguayans to Switzerland (students, etc.), as well as trips of people from Switzerland to Paraguay for educational purposes or to transmit specialized knowledge.
Support start-up companies in Paraguay with technical assistance and financial contributions.
Divulge knowledge about Switzerland in Paraguay, in particular about the educational system, politics and construction of the state.

The Foundation does not aim to make a profit, but works exclusively as a charity. For this reason, it has also been exempted from tax by the tax authorities of the canton in which it has its registered office and any benefits paid to it are deductible (in part or in full). As an internationally active Foundation, the Foundation is subject to federal supervision (Federal Foundations Control Body). To achieve its purpose, the Foundation works in close collaboration with organizations, companies and authorities in Paraguay itself and supports existing projects to minimize administrative costs.
